Loss of transcriptional heterogeneity in aged human muscle stem cells

Abstract: Age-related loss of muscle mass and function negatively impacts healthspan and lifespan. Satellite cells function as muscle stem cells in muscle maintenance and regeneration by self-renewal, activation, proliferation and differentiation.
