Abstract: Deficiencies in coagulation factor VIII (FVIII, F8) result in the bleeding disorder hemophilia A. An emerging novel therapeutic strategy for bleeding disorders is to enhance hemostasis by limiting natural anticoagulants, such as antithrombin (AT3).
