Los desbordamientos de la inversión extranjera directa: signo y nivel de intensidad

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the intensity and direction of spillover effects of foreign direct investment (FDI) on value added in Spanish manufacturing.Particularly, we estimate a multiple linear regression model for a production function. This model explain the effects of FDI and intangible asset investment in value added. Results are agree with traditional literature, because it shows that there are positive spillovers on value added from enterprises with foreign direct investment towards local firms.
