“…No Brasil, há escassez de estudos transversais que avaliem a QVRS de pacientes em DP (ARENAS et al, 2009;BOHLKE et al, 2008;GRINCENKOV et al, 2011;OLIVEIRA et al, 2012) e esta escassez é ainda maior, ao se referir a estudos do tipo longitudinal. Foi encontrado um artigo elaborado com dados do estudo multicêntrico entitulado Brazilian Peritoneal Dialysis Multicenter Study (BRAZPD), no qual a QVRS dos pacientes em DP foi avaliada por meio de instrumento genérico SF-36 em seguimento de 12 meses (GRINCENKOV et al, 2013), enquanto o único que avaliou a QVRS de pacientes em DP e em HD por meio de instrumento genérico e específico, o Kidney Disease and Quality of Life Short Form (KDQOL-SF TM ), seguiu os pacientes também por 12 meses (ABREU et al, 2011). Há, portanto, carência de estudos brasileiros sobre as mudanças que podem ocorrer na QVRS dos pacientes em DP, com o passar do tempo.…”
