Automatic monitoring of cow rumination has great significance in the development of modern animal husbandry. In order to solve the problem of high real-time requirement of ruminant behavior monitoring, a tracking method based on STC (Spatio-Temporal Context) learning was carried out. On the basis of cow's mouth region extraction, the spatial context model between target object and its local surrounding background was built based on their spatial correlations by solving the deconvolution problem, and the learned spatial context model was used to update the STC learning model for the next frame. Tracking in the next frame was formulated by computing a confidence map as a convolution problem that integrates the STC learning information, and the best object location could be estimated by maximizing the confidence map. Then the target scale was estimated based on the confidence evaluation. Finally, accurate tracking of the mouth movement trajectory was realized. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the performance of the algorithm was tested using 20 video sequences. Besides, the tracking results were compared with the Mean-shift algorithm. The results showed that the average success rate of STC learning monitoring algorithm was 85.45%, which was 9.45% higher than the Mean-shift algorithm, the detection rate of STC learning monitoring algorithm was 18.56 s per video, which was 22.08% higher than that of the Mean-shift algorithm. The results showed that the fast tracking method based on STC learning monitoring algorithm is effective and feasible.

This paper reports a miniaturized electrochemical angular accelerometer with the integration of planar microelectrodes and toroid channel. Specifically, the proposed sensor adopted a three-layer bonding structure of glass-silicon-glass in preference to manual mechanical compression structure, which reduced the device size and simplified the assembly processes. The anodic bonding technology was used as a packaging method, which realized the chip-level package of MEMS electrochemical angular accelerometer for the first time and solved the problem of cathode outlet. From the experimental results, it has the characteristics of larger measurement range (up to 3.5rad/s2) and lower noise level (-144dB@1Hz), which is a significant improvement compared with the previously reported counterparts. A novel approach for the production of electrochemical angular accelerometers is presented in this study, which could be utilized for rotational seismic measurement with large angle variations.

Researchers used nine woven electrothermal fabrics with different structures and silver-plated filament content. Electrothermal performance was tested and analyzed to select the fabric with the best thermal stability and heating performance for additional testing of fatigue resistance. Results show that at room temperature, electrical resistance decreases with the increase of silver-plated filament content, and the nine fabrics show good thermal stability at various voltages. When the fabric is electrified, the surface temperature distribution of the satin fabric is more uniform, and the satin fabric with 10% silvered filament has the best heating effect. At 3 V, the fabric can reach 60 °C. After 200 power cycles (on and off), the fabric still has good thermal performance and good fatigue resistance. After washing, heating remains effective.
