Long-term survival with stable disease after multidisciplinary treatment for synchronous liver metastases from gastric cancer: A case report

Abstract

HighlightsBased on the patients with better performance status, partial gastrectomy combining metastasectomy of liver is potentially useful in contributing to decrease tumor loading and cytokines secretion of tumor, which may result in immunosuppression.PVC has the potential to be a well-tolerated and excellent option in GCLM patients who have no extrahepatic metastases.Patients who without extrahepatic metastases, sensitive and well-tolerate to chemotherapy, having better performance status may get good prognosis.
