She also wrote several editorials for the Space Weather Quarterly, showcasing her broad interest for space weather policy (e.g., Gannon and Lugaz, 2021), diversity and inclusion in the space science and space weather community (Gannon and Lugaz, 2020) and the importance of groundbased networks (Gannon et al, 2023) and the commercial sector (e.g., Gannon and Lugaz, 2021) In addition to her role as editor of the journal, she was a member of the National Academies' Space Weather Roundtable and Space Weather Advisory Group (SWAG), which was established as part the PROSWIFT Act.
