LONG TERM opioid use in RURAL NON-metastatic colon cancer patients.

Abstract: e15174 Background: Cancer related pain and subsequent long-term opioid (LTO) use worsens the opioid epidemic and facilitates abuse. Non-metastatic colon cancer (CC) is a potentially curable malignancy and prescription opioid (PO) may increase risks of adverse events when CC has been eradicated.
