“…The increase in soil organic carbon and total nitrogen were observed by Kaur et al [40] in organically managed soils compared to conventionally managed soils in which only chemical fertilizers were added. The addition of P in the treatments could be the main reason for the higher accumulation of total P in soil, and the addition of manures and fertilizers leads to large amounts of unutilized P [41]. The increase in total K in soils treated with manures could be attributed to the increase in available K and non-exchangeable K and due to the fixation of added soluble K through manures by clay minerals.…”
