Long‐term follow‐up of children born after amniocentesis

Abstract: Paediatric and neurodevelopmental examinations were made of 122 children between the ages of 5 and 7 years. The mothers of 62 of these children had undergone amniocentesis for prenatal chromosome determination. The other 60 children were controls, matched for time of birth and maternal age.
