“…Not surprisingly, we found the abundance of soil microorganisms in the surface layer increased significantly in OF treatments when compared with the unfertilized control. Our findings are comparable to numerous field studies that have documented microbial biomass and community composition to be strongly correlated with SOC (Choudhary et al, 2018;Guo, Han, Li, Xu, & Wang, 2019;Liu et al, 2015).
