Long-Term Cell Suspension Culture and Regeneration of the Single-Leafed StrawberryFragaria vesca monophylla

Abstract: Cell suspensions have been used for obtaining somaclonal variability and for the production of secondary metabolites, such as aroma compounds, natural dyes and drugs. Undifferentiated growing cells completely lose their regeneration capacity due to the formation of cells with abnormal DNA content during this phase.
