“…It was found that the use of thermal Band 10 of this satellite provides more reliable results compared to Band 11. A similar result, which demonstrates a good correlation between the measured data and those determined by the Landsat satellite, was obtained for the river affected by the reservoir (Zhao et al, 2020).…”

“…To explore the influence of reduced flow velocity in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River on fish migration, we set a flow velocities range from 0.15 to 0.45 m/s. Affected by the Three Gorges reservoir, the Danjiangkou reservoir and other large reservoirs in the Yangtze River Basin, the water temperature of the rivers in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River will be cooler with a drop of 2–6°C from April to July (main migration and spawn period), and this impact can extend for tens to hundreds of kilometres (Tao et al, 2020; Xiong et al, 2020; Zhao et al, 2020). From April to July, the time when the water temperature reaches 18°C is delayed, and the time period below 24°C is also lengthened (Tao et al, 2020; Xiong et al, 2020; Zhao et al, 2020).…”

“…As the effective precipitation is the key factor for the crop water requirement estimation, it is important to analyse the effects of climate change on precipitation. There is need to get thorough knowledge about the climate change effect on reference evapotranspiration, actual evapotranspiration and effective precipitation to monitor and control the future agricultural policy, research and development [2].…”
