Abstract:We analyse the global convergence of a Whittaker-type iterative method and obtain restricted global convergence domains, so that we can locate and separate solutions of Fredholm–Nemytskii nonlinear integral equations by means of balls. For this, we use two techniques, one based on the well-known fixed point theorem and the other on a system of recurrence relations. In both techniques, we use the Whittaker-type operator involved and auxiliary functions.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
