LA is an uncommon indolent lesion that may be associated with multifocal disease (local or systemic). The presence of an associated monoclonal lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate and recurrent/multifocal disease in the respiratory or gastrointestinal tract of a few cases and the lack of development of a systemic plasma cell dyscrasia or overt systemic B-cell malignancy suggest that some LA may be the result of an immunocyte dyscrasia or tumor of mucosaassociated lymphoid tissue.

miloidoz, değişik organ ve dokularda ekstraselüler fibriler proteinlerin birikimi ile karakterize olan, nadir, idiyopatik bir hastalıktır. Amiloidoz sistemik, lokalize, pirimer, sekonder, kalıtsal gibi değişik şekillerde sınıflandırılan heterojen bir hastalık grubudur. Sistemik formu bütün organları tutabilir. 1,2 İzole amiloid birikimi en sık akciğer ve larinkste görülür. Amiloidoz üst solunum yolunda en sık larinksde ortaya çıkar. Buna rağmen larinksin benign kitlelerinin %1'inden azını oluşturur. 3 Bu makalede, kliniğimize ses kısıklığı, ses kalitesinde bozulma şikâyeti ile başvuran lokalize larinks amiloidozlu bir hasta sunulmuş ve amiloidoz klinik, tanı ve tedavi açısından literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.Turkiye Klinikleri J Med Sci 2012;32 (3) 865 Lokalize Laringeal Amiloidoz Ö ÖZ ZE ET T Amiloidoz, değişik organ ve dokularda ekstraselüler fibriler proteinlerin birikimi ile karakterize nadir bir hastalıktır. Sıklıkla sistemiktir, ancak nadiren farklı organlarda lokal tutulum gösterebilir. Larinkste amiloidoz çok nadirdir. Larinksin benign kitlelerinin %1'inden azını oluşturur. Kırk yaşındaki kadın hasta ses kısıklığı şikâyeti ile kliniğimize başvurdu. İndirekt laringoskopik muayenesi ve larinks tomografisinde sağ supraglottik bölgede düzgün sınırlı kitle lezyonu izlendi. Tanı amacıyla olguya genel anestezi uygulandı ve kitle, doğrudan laringoskopi ile mikroskop altında total olarak çıkarıldı. Although it is frequently systemic, it may exhibit localized involvement of various tissues. Laryngeal amyloidosis is quite rare. Larynx comprises less than 1% of benign masses. A 40-year-old female patient presented to our clinic with hoarseness. A well-shaped mass lesion was detected in the right supraglottic region with indirect laryngoscopy and larynx tomography. For diagnostic purposes, the mass was excised totally under general anesthesia with microscopy using direct laryngoscopy. Histopathological examination revealed amyloidosis.
