Abstract: , in his now classic Musik und Musikpflege im mittelalterlichen Schlesien (pub.), lists and describes fifteen sources of polyphony originating from fifteenth-century Silesia. These are records of simple polyphony ('organale Mehrstimmigkeit'), remnants of organ tablatures, and manuscripts containing mensural music.
