Local Inter-Nucleus Potential and Pauli-Forbidden States

Abstract: Microscopic derivation of the local inter· nucleus potential inevitably faces the problem of how to embody into the local potential the prohibition for the relative wave function to occupy the Pauli-forbidden states. The theory proposed by us on the basis of the WKB approximation which has derived quite accurately the equivalent local potentials from the RGM non-local potentials is shown to incorporate automatically the prohibition of the occupation of the Pauliforbidden states.
