Local and free flap abdominal wall repair

Abstract: The reconstruction of complex composite abdominal wall defects is challenging and often required in patients least fit for major surgery. Restoration of abdominal domain and coverage with good soft tissue with or without restoration of function of core musculature remain the goals of this surgery.
