Abstract:Chronic rhinitis (CR) is commonly divided into allergic rhinitis (AR) and nonallergic rhinitis (NAR). AR is triggered by the immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated response to allergens, whereas NAR is characterized by the absence of allergic sensitization.
