Load Dependent Wear Characteristics of Polymer-Metal Sliding

Abstract: In tribological applications, such as sliding bearing, polymers tends to wear more quickly than indicated in laboratory wear tests. The reason for this discrepancy has been attributed to the effect of loading conditions.
