Livid‐erythematous succulent papules and plaques in a 54‐year‐old female patient

Abstract

A 54-year-old female patient presented to our emergency department with skin lesions on the entire integument that had been present for six weeks (Figure 1a-c). The patient stated that she had been suffering from fever and myalgia before the skin lesions appeared. At the time of presentation, there were no further clinical pathological findings. The patient denied pruritus and B symptoms. On further examination, elevated blood pressure and HbA1c levels were found.No pre-existing conditions were known. The use of medication was denied. No attempt at therapy was made due to the still mild disease burden.
