Abstract: There is accumulating evidence that treatment of chronic hepatitis C (HCV) leads to improvements in liver fibrosis. We aimed to investigate the improvement in fibrosis stage following treatment with direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) and factors associated with fibrosis regression.
