“…Several rather extensive lists of photoelectric observations of V1500 Cyg covering the first several months after maximum light have been published elsewhere (Pfau 1976;Lindgren and Lindgren 1975;Lockwood and Millis 1976;IAU Circulars 1975). Prediscovery measurements have also been reported by Alksne (1975), Samus (1975), Suyarkova (1975), and Liller and Shao (1975).…”
The brightness of V1500 Cyg (nova Cygni 1975) was monitored in UBV light from Fernbank Observatory between September 1975 and June 1976. Short-term brightness fluctuations were observed on 1976 June 6, corresponding to a binary period of 0^139.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
