Literature Searches by Computer

Abstract: This article informs nurse researchers of the advantages of learning to perform their own computerized literature searches. Hardware and software requirements for long‐distance data retrieval are discussed. A variety of financially feasible means of accessing health‐related databases are presented along with technologic trends related to online retrieval systems.
