Literature reviews of qualitative accounting research: challenges and opportunities

Abstract: Purpose This paper aims to identify specific challenges and opportunities when crafting literature reviews of qualitative accounting research. In addition, it offers potential remedies to frequent challenges when conducting such reviews.
