Literature Research: The Use of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) In Physics Learning

Abstract: The STEM approach is an approach that trains to understand the four aspects of it. The four aspects are science, technology, engineering and mathematics. However, the application of this approach is still not optimally developed in the learning process. This study aims to find out the advantages of the STEM approach and the obstacles in learning physics. The method to reach the purpose is literature research. The study reviewed various STEM research journals on physics studies published in the last ten years i… Show more

“…During product manufacturing activities, students actively build their knowledge and understanding (Hjalmarson & Parsons, 2021). Learning activities through science, technology, and engineering practices can stimulate students' problem-solving abilities (Norlaili et al, 2022). Problem-solving abilities can gradually develop through a series of product manufacturing stages (Vijaya et al, 2017;Yu et al, 2020).…”

“…STEM has the most beneficial advantages for enhancing student learning outcomes. Adjusting STEM learning to the curriculum and the need for effective time management are the most significant challenges in STEM education (Baharin et al, 2018;Norlaili et al, 2022;Sithole et al, 2017). The engineering design process (EDP) is one of the most extensively used instructional models that could complement the STEM education approach (Putra et al, 2023a;Sulaeman et al, 2020;Wind et al, 2019).…”
