Introduction: In recent years, as education has become more digitalized, online learning strategies have frequently been employed in conjunction with face-to-face teaching approaches. This study aimed to determine the association between nursing students' attitudes regarding web-based learning and their readiness for online learning. Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out throughout the academic year 2020-2021. The sample consisted of 221 nursing students who experienced online learning for the first time. Personal information form, Web-based Learning Attitude Scale, and Readiness for Online Learning Scale were used to gather data using online Google forms. Results: The mean score of readiness for online learning was 68.31±8.36 and the mean score of web-based learning attitude was 80.40±9.81. There was a significant positive correlation between the readiness for online learning mean scores and attitudes towards web-based learning mean scores of the students (r=0.164; p=0.015). The purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between gifted students' information technology self-efficacy perceptions and their motivations for e-learning environments and to determine the variables (i.e., gender, age, class level, parental education level) are affected by these perceptions and motivations. A total of 104 gifted students, 51 female and 53 male, studying at the Science and Art Center (SAC) constituted the sample of the research. Information Technology Self-Efficacy Perception Scale (ICTSEP) and Motivation Questionnaire for e-Learning Environments (CBM) were used to collect data. It was determined that there was a moderately significant positive correlation between the total ICTSEP and MSDE scores obtained from the scales. It was determined that the motivation of the students towards e-learning environments was negatively affected by the quota and speed problem they encounter on their internet connections and differs according to the class level, SAC group and how they define their computer use skills. In addition, it was observed that the information technology self-efficacy perceptions of the SAC group differed according to how the computer usage time and computer usage skills were defined. As a result, it has been understood that the changing and developing educational needs of gifted students should be met, they should have a quality education and new learning opportunities, and environments where they can reveal their potential by developing their creative thinking skills. It is recommended to plan workshops and practices that will increase students' problem-solving skills, offer the opportunity to progress according to their own level and learning speed and appeal to their age groups and interests.

Purpose of this study is to determine the professional interest and professional performance levels of teachers and to make a comparison between these two phonomena. Teachers have an important influence on societies to keep up with the times and, if necessary, to reshape them. For this reason, it is very important to determine the interests and performances of this profession group in their profession. In this context, it also reveals the importance of the study. The sampling method of the study is random sampling and this method was selected in accordance with the purpose. The sample consists of 368 teachers from different branches working in public secondary schools in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul. In this study which was carried out by adopting quantitative research approaches, the relational survey model was used to determine the relationship between teachers' professional interest and professional performance. "Vocational Interest Scale" and "Teacher Performance Evaluation Scale" were used as data collection tools. Based on the findings, there was no significant difference between teachers' professional interest levels and the variables of gender and graduated faculty, while a significant difference was determined in the sub-dimension of suggesting one's profession to others in age and professional experience variables. While the professional performance levels of the teachers did not show a significant difference according to the variables of gender, age and professional experience; a significant difference was observed in the sub-dimensions of field knowledge, conducting the learning-teaching process and professional development, based on the type of faculty graduated. One of the results of the research is that there is a positive and significant relationship between teachers' professional interest levels and their professional performance. Some of the suggestions made based on the results obtained are as follows: teacher training institutions can plan studies that will increase the professional interests of teacher candidates. Studies that are evaluated by administrators and parents can be carried out, and finally, this study can be applied to other education levels in various districts of Istanbul.
