Liquid‐Liquid Extraction of Copper by Terdodecylthioglycolic Acid. Structures for the Extracted Species

Abstract: The extraction of Cu(II) from nitrate medium by dodecylthioglycolic acid and the influence of buffered medium on that extraction have been studied at 293 K. Distribution of the metal ion in a wide range of pH and carboxylic acid concentration has been measured.
