“…Firstly, Uusi-Penttilä et al [9] examined LLE data of some different ternary systems. Recently, Kırbaş lar et al [10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18] studied LLE data of ten different ternary systems.…”

“…Three different temperatures (298.15, 308.15 and 318.15 K) at atmospheric pressures were selected to study the ternary equilibrium system in order to observe the evaluation of the binodal curves and tie-lines. The binodal (solubility) curves were determined by the cloud point method in an equilibrium glass cell with a water jacket, which is presented in previous work [6], to maintain isothermal conditions. The temperature in the cell was kept constant by circulating water from a water bath (NUVE, BS 302 Model), which is equipped with a temperature controller capable of maintaining the temperature within ±0.1 K. The major central part of the solubility curves was obtained by titrating heterogeneous mixtures of water + alcohol with propionic acid until the turbidity had disappeared.…”

“…A large amount of investigation has been carried out in recent years on the (liquid-liquid) equilibrium (LLE) measurements of ternary systems, in order to understand and provide further information about the phase behaviour of such systems [1][2][3][4][5][6][7].…”

“…In earlier report, LLE data of the aqueous mixtures of BA with a hydrocarbon (toluene) at a wide range of temperature have been measured and predicted by Badakhshan et al [11]. Determination and correlation of equilibrium data for the aqueous solutions of the acid with heavy alcohols have been carried out by Kırbaş lar et al [12], and Bilgin et al [13,14]. Kırbaş lar et al [15][16][17] have also presented important equilibrium data for systems consisting of water, BA, and esters.…”
