“…The MI training project was conducted between January 2008 and May 2010 at the facilities of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Division of Juvenile Justice (CDCR/DJJ). The background to the project and outcomes for trainings conducted by MINT trainers have been described in detail elsewhere (Doran, Hohman, & Koutsenok, 2011; Hohman, Doran, & Koutsenok, 2009). The original design was based on the model previously described (Alexander et al ., 2008), and included a 3‐day basic MI training, followed 6 months later by a more advanced 2‐day training, for most DJJ employees.…”
