Link and System-Level NOMA Simulator: The Reproducibility of Research

Abstract: This study focuses on the design of a MATLAB platform for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) based systems with link-level and system-level analyses. Among the different potential candidates for 5G, NOMA is gaining considerable attention owing to the many-fold increase in spectral efficiency as compared to orthogonal multiple access (OMA). In this study, a NOMA simulator is presented for two and more than two users in a single cell for link-level analysis; whereas, for system-level analysis, seven cells and… Show more

“…The curve associated to the third condition represents the better throughput because the number of candidates that satisfy the threshold is higher than the numbers of users related to the two others conditions. Our proposed algorithm is able to provide a better throughput compared to work [24]. This indicates that our proposed schema can uses the three conditions with an auto configurable way in the users selection phase, might considerably improve the average throughput compared to the case where all the users share the same Rb in a random manner.…”

“…Simulation results prove that our contribution can efficiently achieve adequate performance, where the efficiency of our solution has been proven by different performance measures such as throughput and bit error rate. In addition, for comparison, we take as an example the article [24] and [31] to evaluate our algorithm in terms of throughput: We chose these papers because they use resource allocation with interference mitigation. The papers are recently published.…”

“…Figure-2 exhibits the retention of Cr +6 ions against the dosage of biosorbent as shown in the graph, the adsorbent dosage increases while the adsorption of Cr +6 ions increases and then a certain value is reached. After a certain dose, the adsorption remained constant significantly and the stability of Cr +6 on the biosorbent Journal of Advanced Scientific Research, 2021; 12 (3): Aug-2021 was attained at an adsorbent dose of 200 mg. At equilibrium, the removal percentage of Cr +6 became constant due to the saturation of the available adsorbent site on the biosorbent [18]. percentage for Cr +6 ions was achieved up to 50 min after that did not change until 80 min.…”

“…A Matlab platform is designed [ 32 ] for system and link-level analysis and Long-Term Evolution (LTE) is used as a baseline technique for Bit Error Rate (BER) and capacity comparison. A two-hop relay selection NOMA for IoT communication system [ 33 ] is considered to enhance secrecy performance.…”
