Lineshape ofψ(3770)and low-lying vector charmonium resonance parameters ine+eD<

Abstract: We investigate the D "D production in e þ e À annihilations near threshold in an effective Lagrangian approach. This shows that the lineshape of the cross section near threshold is sensitive to the contributions from c 0 , though it is below the D " D threshold. The recent experimental data from the BES and Belle collaborations allow us to determine the c 0 D " D coupling constant, which appears to be consistent with other theoretical studies. As a consequence, the c 0 -c ð3770Þ mixing parameter can be extract… Show more

“…We also include the coupled channel effects due to the nearby AE c N and AE à c N thresholds. The coupled channel effects in the heavy quark scenario probably have sizable contributions even though the thresholds are not very close to each other, which may be realized from the discussions about the resonance effects for the D " D production [39,40]. It is interesting to investigate how important the coupled channel effects are for the formation of the à c N bound states.…”

“…A recent study of the e þ e À ! D " D cross section line shape [35] suggests that g c 0 DD ' g J=c DD , and we will discuss later that to coherently account for the partial widths of J=c and c 0 ! c ð 0 c Þ would impose a strong constraint on the ratio of g c 0 DD =g J=c DD .…”

“…Since these processes should share the same form factor parameter , the main parameter difference is the coupling between J=c ðc 0 Þ to D ðÃÞ " D ðÃÞ for which the analysis of Ref. [35] suggests that a smaller value for g c 0 DD should be applied.…”
