A new linearizer concept is proposed. The proposed linearizer generates even-order distortion in a frequency band different from the transmission band. This linearizer can control the distortion independently of incident signals and compensate an almost saturated HPA. The output backoff is improved by about 1 dB which means a power efficiency improvement of about 5 %.
