Linear gain anisotropy and mode profile asymmetry in spin-VCSELs: extended spin-flip models

Abstract: Spin-VCSELs offer particularly rich polarization dynamics due to non-trivial interplay of spin-induced circular gain dichroism with microcavity-related linear anisotropies.
