Introducción: la producción científica nacional en enfermería ha tenido una tendencia creciente, lo que favorece el fortalecimiento de la disciplina; es necesario conocer el estado actual de las publicaciones en enfermería para continuar con esta tendencia. Objetivo: describir las características temáticas y metodológicas de la producción científica de enfermería publicada en Colombia entre el 2016 y 2021. Método: estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo y transversal. Se analizaron seis revistas nacionales, que fueron publicadas del segundo semestre del 2016 al segundo semestre del 2021. La muestra correspondió a 285 artículos originales y/o de investigación. El análisis de resultados se realizó con estadística descriptiva, en el que se utilizaron frecuencias y porcentajes. Resultados: predominan los artículos publicados en el 2020 (20,7 %), mediante la metodología cuantitativa (65,3 %); el grado del primer autor es la maestría (39,3 %), sin colaboración de otras disciplinas (53 %) ni estudiantes (49,8 %). El tema central fue el cuidado en el adulto (29,8 %), especialmente en el tercer nivel de atención (29,8 %). Conclusión: el crecimiento de la publicación científica en enfermería colombiana es innegable, sin embargo, es necesario realizar mayores esfuerzos por alcanzar mejores niveles metodológicos que permitan trascender en la construcción del conocimiento disciplinar.

The Relationship Between Family-Friendly Workplace Policies and Accountant Turnover

Prolonged high turnover rates have caused a shortage of accountants; unfortunately, managers have not successfully taken action to avoid these circumstances. Reducing the high turnover is necessary for accountant managers to replenish the accountant shortage, reduce turnover costs, and protect the accounting industry's reputation for supporting its employees. Grounded in the social exchange theory, the purpose of this quantitative correlational study was to examine the relationship between three familyfriendly policies, childcare support, alternative work schedules, and work-family culture and accountant turnover intention. The participants comprised of 185 accountants who responded to the NSCW questionnaire. The results of the multiple regression analyses were significant, indicating that formal and informal family-friendly policies were significantly related to turnover intention. Further, demographic subgroups displayed different relationships between variables.

Dynamism in the higher education industry (HEI) has created unprecedented complexity and uncertainty for leaders at colleges and universities across the globe. The challenges to competitive advantage and sustainability created by dynamic conditions have been exacerbated and accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic and health crisis. HEI leaders are struggling to adapt antiquated and traditionally held methods and practices to navigate the rapid changes and survive the resulting chaos. The ability of leaders to adapt to dynamism in contemporary industry conditions is influenced by the external and internal environments; in term, these leaders' capacity for change impacts the adaptability of the institutions they serve. This study examines how senior-and mid-level leaders at small private liberal arts colleges and universities are engaging in adaptive behaviors to help their organizations better compete despite challenges.
