Like friends, brain regions depend on each other to make good memories

Abstract: In order to execute a cognitive task, the mind needs to temporarily hold a certain amount of information necessary for dealing with said task, which is called working memory. But the neural mechanism of how the brain creates and keeps working memory remains unclear.
