Lightweight visible light camera technology for weak space target detection

“…Since the successful launch of the first man-made satellite in the 1950s, satellite payloads have played an irreplaceable role in the field of atmospheric and ground objects detection and recognition, and space camera technology has been rapidly developed [1] .Space-based optical camera is an important means of space target detection, and the world's major space powers are vigorously developing space-based space target detection technology to ensure space situation awareness [2] .With the development of science and technology, the development and research in the field of space science have developed rapidly, and space cameras have been more and more widely used, which has higher requirements for the detection ability and resolution of space cameras. The micro-vibration generated by the internal disturbance of the satellite platform is the main factor that affects the energy concentration of the star image point dispersion spot, so the image stabilization system is needed to compensate the change of the visual axis to obtain high quality images.To address the problem above, three methods of image stabilization have been proposed, one of which is the introduction of an image stabilization device into an optical system.Optical image stabilization works by theory of dynamic optics,which adds movable optical components to the optical system and makes the line of sight of the camera stable by compensating the motion of the optical components.Compared to other image stabilization technologies, due to the advantages of its driving mechanism's compactness, controllability and small influence by the external environment,Optical image stabilization technology has been widely applied to the field such as the civilian, military and medical.…”
