Abstract: Electro‐coalescence is the fusion phenomenon between a pair or more microfluidic droplets that are immersed in an immiscible medium under an electric field. This technique is frequently used to merge confined droplets in surfactant‐stabilized microfluidic emulsions using local electric fields.
