Abstract:The electronic states and direct interband light absorption are studied in the cylindrical quantum dot with Morse confining potential made of GaAs in the presence of parallel electrical and magnetic fields. Within the framework of perturbation theory and variation method expressions are obtained for the particle energy spectrum. The effect of the external fields on direct interband light absorption of cylindrical quantum dot is investigated. Selection rules are obtained at presence of parallel electrical and m… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
