Lifestyle Stories: Correlating User Information through a Story-Inspired Paradigm

Abstract

Lifestyle management area has been developing over the past years due to an increasing individual and societal need for self-awareness. Technologies play an essential role as they can capture, interpret, and visualize various aspects of users' lives. One of the challenges introduced by capturing large and varied amounts of data lays in organizing and displaying it to end users. We present here our novel approach for dealing with such challenge through a story-inspired paradigm. The paper includes a short description of the system design as well as an exploratory study we performed in order to inform and advance our automatic story creation framework. 1
