Lifelong deformities in an adult caused by vitamin D‑dependent rickets type 1A: A case report

Abstract: Vitamin D-dependent rickets (VDDR) type 1A is a rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by cytochrome P450 family 27 subfamily B member 1 (CYP27B1) mutations and can lead to deficiencies in 1α-hydroxylase activity. The present study describes the case of a 39-year-old male patient who presented with rickets and deformities of limbs.
