Abstract: Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) is an autosomal dominant genetic condition associated with mucocutaneous and visceral arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), including pulmonary AVMs, which predispose patients to systemic paradoxical emboli that can lead to brain abscesses.
