Life History and Systematic Studies of Pseudothrix borealis gen. et sp. nov. (=North Pacific Capsosiphon groenlandicus, Ulotrichaceae, Chlorophyta)

Abstract: Sea coast of Alaska or the Arctic coasts of Alaska or Siberia.Capsosiphon groenlandicus (J. Agardh) K.L. Vinogradova, as the species is now known, does not fit well in any of the genera to which it has been assigned. It differs from Monostroma in that the tubular thallus never ruptures longitudinally to form a monostromatic blade.
