Life Cycle impacts assessment of two gold extraction systems in Colombia: Open-pit and alluvial mining

Abstract: Purpose Gold mining has historically and significantly contributed to the Colombian economy. Gold extraction in Colombia is mainly done through two techniques: open-pit and alluvial mining.
