Lichenoid Keratosis in Three Toy Poodles

Abstract: Lichenoid keratosis was found in three toy poodles. All cases were juvenile onset and no apparent sex predisposition was found. Skin lesions were characterized by demarcated keratinizing plaques and papules at mainly the medial pinnae. Histopathology revealed acanthosis with hyperkeratosis, as well as lymphocytes and plasma cells infiltration. Topical glucocorticoids were relatively effective at managing the skin lesions.
