Leydig Cell Tumour of the Testis With Gynaecomastia and Elevated Oestrogen, Progesterone and Prolactin Levels: Case Report

Abstract: The successful surgical removal of a feminizing interstitial cell tumour of the testis is described. The high oestradiol, progesterone and prolactin levels fell after surgery and the suppressed testosterone, FSH and LH recovered. Oestrogen secretion by the tumour could explain most of the observed hormonal changes.
