Развитие международных отношений между африканскими странами и Россией, неподдельный интерес африканских государств к международному сотрудничеству в области образования, проблемы изучения русского языка и трудности адаптации африканских студентов к жизни в России определяют актуальность данного исследования. Целью статьи является выявление проблем, с которыми сталкиваются студенты из Республики Ангола при изучении русского языка как иностранного (далее-РКИ), в зависимости от языкового аспекта и аспекта обучения, а также определение возможных путей их решения. В качестве методологической базы был использован комплексный подход, состоящий из методов наблюдения и обобщения педагогического опыта, опроса студентов из Анголы, а также статистических методов анализа данных. Установлено, что проблемы обучения ангольских студентов РКИ связаны с межъязыковой интерференцией, национально-культурными особенностями и их психологическим типом личности. Важную роль в обучении РКИ играет эмоциональная составляющая. Для устранения выявленных сложностей в обучении студентов из Республики Ангола предпочтительно использовать этноориентированный подход с элементами других методологических направлений, а также в дальнейшем выстраивать методологическую модель обучения ангольских (и шире-африканских) студентов РКИ, что становится перспективой настоящего исследования.

The current stage of development of Russian society is characterized by rather intense and serious socio-economic, industrial, legal and spiritual-moral changes. These changes, due to the characteristics of mental development, have the greatest impact on the personality of young people and their behavior. The paper considers the problem of the value orientation of contemporary youth in Russia. The psychological characteristics of the person have been determined, in relation to which various value orientations are formed from the point of view of E. Fromm’s concept, and their role in vocational formation. The authors have proved the integrity, the integration of the value system with other personality characteristics, as well as the differences in individuals regarding the orientation to “Being” or “Possession”. The conclusions have been drawn that the nature of the value orientation of young people in contemporary Russia is complex. Values are divided into blocks according to the spheres of human life and are subject to the more general law of their dominant orientation - “Being” or “Possession”. Accordingly, the nature of personality orientation determines the formation and development of value groups.

Pedagogical aspect of development of professionally significant language skills of engineering students

The study investigates the pedagogical aspect of forming the professionally significant language skills of future engineers. The results emphasize the determining role of employees who are called “linear personnel”. It stands out that one of the factors ensuring the successfulness and effectiveness of the professional activities of a linear engineer is his ability to act confidently in the foreign environments, receive, process and transmit professionally significant information in a foreign language. In justice to previous research in this direction, we note that they practically do not reflect the problems of developing professionally significant language skills in a technical university that are directly related to the types and functions of an engineer’s professional activity. The results obtained during the experiment showed that situational language teaching characterized by the verbal and cogitative task, problems is an effective means of forming the professionally significant language skills of future engineers. Situations developed and tested by the authors in the training courses build up the language interaction close to as real as in various professional situations.
