Abstract: Background: Levocetirizine (LCZ), the active R-enantiomer of cetirizine, is a second-generation antihistamine approved for symptom treatment due to seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR), perennial allergic rhinitis, and chronic idiopathic urticaria in patients $6 months of age.
