Leucism in Akodon affinis (Allen, 1912) (Rodentia: Cricetidae)

Abstract: Leucism is a condition where animals show a loss of pigments on certain parts of their skin, without affecting soft tissue, a condition that has been poorly reported for Neotropical rodents.
