Letter to the Editor: Suture Line Disruption After Carotid Endarterectomy

Abstract: later. The suture was discarded by the operating room personnel.Case 2. A 61-year-old man underwent right CEA for high-grade stenosis. Closure of the arteriotomy was with 5-0 Prolene suture using a saphenous vein patch beginning at the distal apex and continuing laterally around the proximal apex and tied on the medial aspect.
